Pastor David Johnston
I was saved in November 1976 in the Madisonville Baptist Temple in Madisonville, Kentucky. My wife was saved there also in June of 1982. On March 17, 1983 God called me into the ministry in the prayer room of the First Baptist Church of Sturgis, Kentucky using Matthew 9:38. I attended Tabernacle Baptist Bible College from 1983 until 1987. In March of 1987, I became Pastor of the Temple Baptist Church of Laurens, South Carolina. I received an earned doctorate in August of 2003, but, by the grace of God, my studies will never end in this life. My life verse is Galatians 6:14: “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”
